Urge the U.S. Senate to Take Action to Prevent Medicare Reimbursement Cuts
The temporary moratorium on the 2 percent Medicare sequester will end on April 1, 2021 unless Congress takes action to extend it.
These cuts will have devastating, long-term effects on emergency medicine and will threaten patient access to lifesaving emergency care as we continue fighting on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Senate is considering efforts that would extend the 2 percent sequester moratorium through 2021.
Please urge your two U.S. Senators to swiftly consider and pass a necessary extension of the sequester moratorium that will help prevent additional financial stress on our already-strained health care safety net.
