Call for Nominations: ICEP Board of Directors, Councillor, Awards, ACEP Awards
ICEP is seeking nominations for candidates for the Board of Directors, Councillors, ICEP’s annual awards, and national ACEP awards. All nominations must be received by Friday, January 27, 2017.
Board of Directors
Five Active members of the Board of Directors will be elected in 2017. Members serve a 3-year term and may be re-elected to a second 3-year term. The Board of Directors are elected by the ICEP membership (non-Candidate) by online ballot.
One Resident member will also be elected in 2017. The resident member serves a 1-year term and may be re-elected to a second 1-year term. The resident member of the Board of Directors is elected by the ICEP Candidate membership by online ballot.
ICEP Councillors
Thirteen Councillors will also be elected. Councillors represent ICEP at the ACEP Council Meeting held in conjunction with ACEP17 and are elected by the ICEP Board.
ICEP Awards
ICEP recognizes its dedicated leaders with 3 annual awards, presented each year at the Spring Symposium and Annual Business Meeting.
Please consider nominating a colleague for one of ICEP’s awards:
- Bill B. Smiley Award (ICEP’s highest honor)
- ICEP Meritorious Service Award
- Downstate Member Service Award
ACEP Awards
Each year, ACEP honors members with Leadership and Excellence Awards. The awards are presented during ACEP’s Scientific Assembly in the fall.
ACEP’s program provides an opportunity to recognize all members for significant professional contributions as well as service to the College. All members of ACEP are eligible to participate in one or more of the College’s award programs.
ICEP annually nominates several members for annual ACEP awards, and we are seeking your recommendations for deserving members from Illinois.
How to Submit Nominations
All nominations must be received by Friday, January 27, 2017. The Awards and Nominating Committee will meet in February to evaluate and select the final slate of candidates for each category.
