ICEP Mourns Loss of Rebecca R. Roberts, MD

ICEP is saddened to learn of the recent passing of longtime member and volunteer, Dr. Rebecca (Becky) R. Roberts, MD on February 7, 2024. Dr. Roberts practiced for more than 30 years at Stroger Hospital in emergency medicine and served the Director of Medical Research, including research in rapid HIV testing, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, and observational medicine.

She served as faculty for ICEP’s oral and written board review courses in addition to her numerous other contributions to ACEP and ICEP over the years.

Our thoughts go out to Dr. Roberts’ family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
