MAT Waiver Training Course for Physicians Offered by Dr. Stephen Holtsford

Illinois is not prepared to respond to the opioid crisis. We have a severe shortage of physicians qualified to prescribe medications for opioid use disorder. The Surgeon General encourages doctors from OB-GYN offices, to family practice, to emergency rooms to get the 8 hours of training and the federal waiver they need to dispense buprenorphine. Join the dedicated health professionals who are making a difference in millions of lives by developing the skills and knowledge you need to treat patients with Opioid Use Disorder.

Sign up and attend a free 4-hour live training taught by Dr. Stephen Holtsford on August 29 in Batavia.  When the 4 hour in person training session is completed, participants will receive the second half of the course, a 4 hour online self-study unit, take an online exam and complete the application to receive the waiver.  CME credits will be awarded for the course.  This training session is free and open to qualified Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.  A free dinner catered by Riganato Old World Grill in Geneva will be provided.
