Medicaid Reform Legislation Passed and Sent to Governor

The General Assembly passed Medicaid reform legislation latelast night.  The bill has been sent to the goveor who has said that hewill sign the legislation.

The legislation does include a $10 copayment fornon-emergency use of the ED.  The prudent layperson standard is maintainedbut it will be important to review the draft rules that will implement thissection.  Other important sections include ambulance transports andstretcher vans.
