Governor Proclaims March 7 as Emergency Medicine Day in Illinois
At the request of ICEP, Goveor Pat Quinn has proclaimed March 7 as Emergency Medicine Day in Illinois.
March 7 is ICEP’s advocacy day in Springfield. We will be working with our legislators on out of network reimbursement, mental health funding, Medicaid reform and EMS issues. ICEP will prepare briefing papers for members to use during visits with your legislators.
Advocacy Day is part of ICEP’s 2012 EM Days in Springfield program, a two-day conference on March 6-7. March 6 provides clinical education and CME. For more information, View Course Brochure
There is no cost to attend Advocacy Day or the special evening reception with state legislators that will be held from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6 at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library’s Lincoln Atrium.
We hope many of our members will join us for these important events!
